Family estate planted in 1951 in the municipality of Guardiola de Font-rubí. It is located in the middle of the Coastal Depression around Vilafranca.

The Macabeo grape variety

The Macabeo variety produces large-sized grapes with a compact but highly branched shape. Beads in the shape of a golden yellow sphere. It brings fragrant aromas with a floral character and fresh in the mouth thanks to its acidity. The aroma of tropical pineapple is perceived.

Strains with extraordinary vigor and large clusters of five lobes. Sprouting in late March and maturity during the first week of September.

It is a variety that helps to achieve light body wines in the mouth but at the same time complete and balanced.

Pruning
The job of the viticultor during the winter is to perform pruning in globet shape. This type of pruning is based on a short trunk and long arms so that they open in the form of a span. Pruning is necessary to shape the vine, otherwise, the vine will produce smaller grapes and yards (vine shoots) and would eventually die of exhaustion.

Green pruning
It is a technique that is characterized by removing the grapes that are below the grapes. The vines are removed, also the horses, they are the sprouts, that leave the primary vine. In other words, it is known as pruning a vine. Pruning improves the health status because it allows greater aeration of the grapes.

Pheromones

Just before budding, the technique of sexual confusion with diffusers is applied, it is an environmentally friendly practice. It is used to fight the grape worm, thanks to a cloud of pheromones the male butterfly is unable to find the female, thus the worm does not develop and does not damage the grape seed.
